Good Golf & Good Friends
Welcome to TLWGA!

Twin Lakes Women’s Golf Association was first organized in 1983 with a membership of 32. The original golf course and clubhouse, built in 1967, were located at the entrance off of Clifton Road. That clubhouse is now used as the maintenance facility. In October 1998, a new clubhouse on Union Mill Road and a second course opened. We are now privileged to be able to play two courses, the new Oaks Course and the modified Lakes Course.

TLWGA has a membership ceiling of 120 members. All TLWGA competitions are governed by The Rules of Golf published by the USGA. Members are responsible for knowing the rules and for adding penalty strokes when applicable. Failure to abide by the rules will disqualify you from competition.

The Virginia season for posting is now year round. If you play at Twin Lakes or any other course during that season, you must post that score in the Twin Lakes computer or any other GHIN computer or over the internet as soon as possible. Any golf you play in a non-year-round gold season location in December, January or February does not need to be posted. GHIN numbers remain the same from year to year.

All Wednesday league scores must be posted before the end of the day.

Internet Score Posting

1. Go to the VSGA website.
www,vsga,org
2. Click on the red box on the right side of the page
that says “Online Score Posting.”
3. Enter your GHIN number and your last name in the spaces indicated, and click “Next”.
4. This screen will prompt you to enter your “ESC Score” (score after deducting for equitable stroke control) by “Date,” “Type” (away, tournament or home), and “Holes” (18 or 9). Remember that our weekly competitions are NOT posted as “tournament.” You will post those under “HOME.”
5. Enter the course rating and slope of the course you played. To find the rating and slope, click on “Find Course Rating and Slope.” At the screen titled “Course Rating Selections,” follow the prompts to select the state, then the course played, on the drop-down menus. Click “Next,” and select the tees you played from under “Select a Rating.” For our league competitions, this is always the RED tees, and you must click the arrow and change it on the drop down menu if it does not say RED. Then click “Next.”
6. Enter your ESC Score. VERIFY that all of the information entered is correct, and click on “Post ESC Score.”

Reminder: Wednesday competition scores must be posted on Wednesday, to be eligible for that day’s competition.
